I needed some time to chill and think things out for streaming and Youtube.
Essentially that is what it is. I had a meltdown a Sunday ago, and felt a little burnt out. The desire was there, the yearning to stream is there, but the pressure of time and fitting things into a weekend that should be relaxing and such was turning into almost a job.
With some good friends having my back, missing the streaming incredibly I decided I was going to continue. But I do have to make changes. If I just end up the same as before this time spent was worthless. So the few changes I am looking to accomplish over the next month or so.
- Setting a flexible schedule. I hate not having a set schedule, but I will be experimenting with the starting time. The first one will be a “hour block start time.” This will allow me to start somewhere in that hour of time. Example: The 11th hour start time. Meaning sometime between 11-12 is the start time.
- No set length. If I am not feeling it, I might bolt after an hour of streaming, if I am balling, then I could stay on for 3-4 hours. No time limit.
- Play a better variety of games. Burning out and getting to snug with the same game over and over seems to add to the frustration.
- Reducing the streaming to only once a week. That is also an option I am looking into, or having one stream at 11AM the next day have one at 3PM. Giving myself time to do things.
